Lunch at CVI.CHE 105 in Miami

I’ve been to CVI.CHE 105 numerous times and it’s always the same…hot, hip, and happening, and that’s just the people. It’s astounding to me how striking and lively the people are that frequent CVI.CHE 105. Like attracts like what more can be said. I enjoy this place; the vibe is cool, the restaurant itself is sharp and sexy, exuding a dynamic energy that obviously casts a spell over its guests, over and over again. 4pm on a Sunday afternoon and the place is jam-packed to the gills with the beautiful people. Every table in the dining room and bar is taken and the wait at the door is so tight it looks like the house specialty Chitta Roll.

Dual toque wearer, Juan Chipoco (owner) is the front-man and host extraordinaire who also happens to be a Ceviche/Peruvian Chef specialist. Chipoco lives, eats, and breathes his gem CVI.CHE 105; he is gregarious, pleasant, accommodating, and talented, the perfect recipe for a successful dish so it’s no wonder CVI.CHE 105 is quite the hit in downtown Miami.

At the bar, Pisco Sours with a complimentary snack dish of cancha (cornnuts) are a fun and fabulous way to take the edge off while waiting for that coveted table. Ceviche Pucusana 105 is one of my favorite dishes because of the spiciness of the dish, you don’t expect it, you don’t see it coming and BAM! it sneaks up and grabs a hold of you. No guilty eating at CVI.CHE 105, just seems as if everything is good for you even the Pisco Sours, which by the way go down a little too easy, especially in the Summer.

The staff just like the owner pleasant and accommodating. Everyone is busy moving to and fro, weaving in and out of the maze of people and tables artfully balancing trays of colorful foods and frothy drinks. CVI.CHE 105 is another one of those be there and be seen places in Miami, it’s a sexy, fun, lively place for one or one of 15. CVI.CHE 105 is definitely worth a taste, especially during the Sunday heartbeat at 4pm. Click here to view photos of our dining experience.
