South Florida Food and Wine, the new look

South Florida Food and Wine has positioned itself from day one as the go-to resource for all things food, wine and events from Palm Beach to Key West. 2011 has been a world wind of excitement for us as we celebrated our 2-year anniversary in August 2011. Our new look [this site] which went from a nip & tuck to a full blown facelift; is the outward metamorphosis of the many additions, changes and growth that we are experiencing.

2011 has been an exciting year for South Florida Food and Wine starting out by winning the Sun-Sentinel people’s choice award for best foodie blog and coming in on the heels of that great recognition, I signed a book contract 5 days later to pen the first ever “Food Lovers’ Guide to Miami and Fort Lauderdale. The book will be available on kindle and nook as well as in print via this site, Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com, Books-a-Million and many local bookstores and gift shops throughout the country.

As if that wasn’t enough excitement, we have added South Florida Weekend Getaways to our list of topics that we will be covering where we will bring you fabulous getaway experiences and information from Palm Beach to Key West. It made sense to us early on to bring in weekend getaway and spa topics to the already existing food and wine coverage as they go hand-in-hand. Our methodology has not changed, we will continue to only write about places that we are “enthusiastic” about; “we are enthusiasts not critics”. This site is not about reviews, but about sharing dynamic experiences, we hope you’ll think they are as well.

Cheers! to having a lot more fun….
