Culinary and Historic Tours of Delray Beach & Boynton Beach

Since 2004 the Museum of Lifestyle & Fashion History (MLFH) has been hosting narrated bus tours of historic Delray Beach and now they are expanding their tours by adding a culinary component to the tour program with the theme, Taste History. Retail giant and culinary lifestyle specialists, Macy’s Culinary Council is sponsoring Taste History, Culinary Tours of Historic Delray Beach & Boynton Beach.

Taste History Culinary Tours brings together the history, culture, and tastings of food along with facts about the historic districts and pioneer people of Delray Beach, Boynton Beach and Lake Worth while highlighting historic buildings and showcasing the influence of the agriculture industry. Taste History is a four-hour narrated combination tour of bus riding and walking through historic districts and visits to over a dozen eateries, markets and farms. The food sampled on the tour is a worldwide culinary journey along with, organic teas, and fruits and vegetables from local farms. The tour will also stop at The Cellar at Macy’s Boynton Beach for more food and beverage experiences; food demos, cake decorating and wine lectures followed by tastings.

The food tours board at the Boynton Beach Mall (at Macy’s-East Entrance) located at 801 N. Congress Avenue, Boynton Beach. The ticket price is $35 per person to purchase tickets for the Taste History Culinary Tour visit TasteHistoryCulinaryTours.org or call 561-243-2662

  1. I was on this tour today and it was well worth the money. I learned so much … and ate so much! I will be posting about it. And I’d like to do the Lantana and Lake Worth one as well.
