Spring Break is still swinging around these parts with Happy Hours, and weekend Brunches jammed to the hilt, thus, our South Florida “season” is still in high gear. Wednesday, April 25th is Administrative Professionals Day. Some restaurants and resorts have special lunches and amenities planned, here are a few highlights.

Administrative Professionals Day at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach is glitz and glam with spa specials and lunch oceanside for bosses who want to WOW! their valuable team players. Simon Stojanovic, executive chef of Miami Beach’s Altamare, will share his kitchen this Thursday, April 19, with a special guest chef, former Bravo network Top Chef contestant, Lindsay Autry, for an intimate dinner of 20. Altamare is located at 1233 Lincoln Road on Miami Beach. The dinner begins at 7 p.m. and is priced at $80 per person excluding tax and gratuity. Reservations required at (305) 532-3061

Tuesday, April 24th at 7pm China Grill Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina invites guests to take a culinary journey inspired by the travels of Marco Polo with the theme of the dinner being East meets West. April 28 at 7pm Bordeaux Wine Dinner at Bourbon Steak Miami will feature a four-course dinner featuring six wines of Chateau Troplong  Saint-Émilion, Premier grand cru classé and Chateau Climens, Barsac, Premier Cru Classé.  The cost is $175 per person, which is inclusive of tax, gratuity and valet parking. Makoto Bal Harbour is celebrating its 1 year anniversary with The “Best of Makoto” celebratory menu, priced at $45/person, which is a smorgasbord of its best selling items plated to share. The second WPBT2 Check, Please! South Florida Tasting Tour is gearing up to taste its way through Boca Raton on yet another adventurous culinary excursion with co-hosts Michelle Bernstein and Paul Castronovo.
