4th of July 2012 Celebrations and Fireworks from Key West to Palm Beach

We’ve put together our ‘bang’ up list again this year to help you decide where to celebrate and watch fireworks from Palm Beach to Key West this 4th of July. Have fun, party safe and Happy 4th of July! Where to watch 4th of July fireworks in The Keys and Key West

Fireworks in Key West will be launched off the White Street pier.

Fireworks at Blackwater Sound will take place on the bayfront in Key Largo at 10 pm on July 4. The best seating can be found at Sundowners and Senior Frijoles restaurants, Caribbean Club and Marriott Key Largo Bay Resort, all located around mile marker (MM) 104 bayside. Reservations are suggested because seating is limited

Fireworks and Family Fun at Founders Park MM 87 on Plantation Key, is the site of “Spirit of Islamorada,” an old-fashioned annual Fourth of July celebration hosted by the Village of Islamorada and the Upper Keys Rotary Club. Fireworks show begins at 9pm. Guests staying at participating resorts are to receive admission-free wristbands to enter the event at 6 p.m. A $10 admission fee for non-residents not staying at a participating hotel applies.

The Big Pine & Lower Keys Rotary Club’s annual 4th of July fireworks are to take place at Sugarloaf Airport, MM 17 bayside on Sugarloaf Key, adjacent to the Bat Tower. Live music, food and ice-cold beverages are to be accompanied by games and activities for both adults and kids. A “longer and larger” fireworks show is set to go off at nightfall, 9 p.m. Gates open at 5 p.m. Admission is free

Marathon Beach Party & Fireworks Show Enjoy Independence Day at Marathon’s Sombrero Beach. Attractions include a 10:30 a.m. parade from Marathon High School to the beach, live music all day, food, fun, sun and a fireworks extravaganza at night

Where to watch 4th of July fireworks in Miami

4th of July in Coconut Grove‘s Peacock Park. Live music, food, kidz zone and fireworks. 4:00 – 9:00 pm 2820 McFarlane Road, Coconut Grove

Biltmore Hotel Coral Gables Fireworks start at 9 p.m. A concert by the Greater Miami Symphonic Band performs at 7 p.m. Admission is free, concessions are available for purchase. Parking is free at the city garage, 385 Andalusia Ave., a block from City Hall at 405 Biltmore Way, a free shuttle bus will take visitors to the hotel. The shuttle will also stop at Coral Gables Youth Center, 405 University Drive, and the Ponce Garage in front of the Bank United Center at the University of Miami.

City of Miami Beach Fourth of July Celebration: 7:30pm the music begins. Fireworks at nightfall. 4th of July festivities at 8th Street and Ocean Drive. The event is free and open to the public. Everyone is encouraged to arrive early, bring beach chairs and towels. No coolers or bottles will be permitted on the beach.  For more information Miami Beach Tourism Center at (305) 673-7400

 

Key Biscayne Fourth of July Parade: The 4th of July Key Biscayne traditional parade features floats, music and fireworks. The parade runs along Crandon Boulevard starting at 11am fireworks shoot off at sunset.

Bayfront Park: 4th of July festival day with activities, food and drink The festival begins at 3pm and concludes with fireworks at 9pm. Bayfront Park 301 Biscayne Blvd in downtown Miami. For more information, call (305) 358-7550

City of Homestead Miami Speedway is hosting an Independence Day festival and fireworks show 5-10pm. The festival will feature entertainment, food and music with a fireworks show at 9pm. For more information contact the City of Homestead Department of Parks and Recreation at (305) 224-4570

Where to watch 4th of July fireworks in Fort Lauderdale/Broward County

The City of Fort Lauderdale celebrates the 4th of July with a free all-day celebration on Fort Lauderdale Beach beginning at 11:30am with live music, family beach games, activities and ending with City of Fort Lauderdale’s annual fireworks show off A1A and Las Olas Blvd.

Lauderdale-By-The-Sea kicks off the 4th of July with its annual Independence Day parade beginning at 10:00 a.m. from behind the Lauderdale-By-The-Sea Town Hall in the 4500 block of Bougainvilla Drive. From11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., there’ll be food, music, games and more all over town. The night ends with a large fireworks display at 9:00 p.m at Anglin’s Pier.

Pompano Beach 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza will take place at the City’s Main Public Beach, North & South of the Pier. Fireworks begin promptly at 9 p.m. Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome. Please refrain from bringing personal fireworks, glass containers, alcohol and pets. For more information call 954-786-4111

Deerfield Beach 4th of July Celebration takes place at the Main Beach Parking, Ocean Way & SE1st St. Free concerts all day with food vendors. Fireworks Display from the International Fishing Pier at 9pm This is a free event with complimentary shuttle service from locations west of the Intracoastal. Parking and  Shuttle Service. Parking on the barrier island will be extremely limited during the event. Park at the Cove Shopping Center and walk across the bridge or take the complimentary shuttle service between the Cove Shopping Center and the beach. Shuttle service will run on July 4 from 11AM – 5:45 PM, at which time Hillsboro Blvd. and the bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic. Road will reopen following the fireworks display.

City of Coral Springs Food and entertainment. $3 parking fee, Starts at 6pm, firework display at 9pm
No pets or alcoholic beverages. Located at the Mullins Park, 10150 N.W. 29 St, Coral Springs.

City of Margate Firework Display begins at 9 pm at Margate Blvd and 441

City of Sunrise & Bank Atlantic Center 4th of July Celebration.The event is free and open to the public and will include food and beverage vendors, a sponsor tent area, a family fun zone with bounce houses, games, face painters, jugglers, etc., the VIP Tent, live music including Sister Hazel beginning at 6 p.m., a fireworks show and the fireworks finale presented by Sawgrass Mills Mall beginning at 9 p.m. BankAtlanic Center 1 Panther Pkwy Sunrise, FL 33323

The City of Tamarac will sponsor an All American Celebration at the city’s sports complex at the 7700 block of Nob Hill Road beginning at6pm. The festivities include music, dancing, prizes, and a fireworks display that begins at 9:00 p.m. Continuous round-trip shuttle transportation at Community Center, 8601 Commercial Blvd., and City Hall, 7525 NW 88th Ave

City of Plantation 4th of July Concert and Firework Display is free and open to the public 7:30 pm
Festivities begin 7:30pm with Viva Classic Rock & Roll, a South Florida variety show band at Central Park Ball Fields. Fireworks at 9pm.

City of Miramar Firework Display Festivities begin at 7pm, fireworks begin at 9pm. Located at Miramar Regional Park, 16801 Miramar Parkway.

Pembroke Pines Independence Day Celebration 6-9 pm Family activities start at 6 p.m. Fireworks at 9pm. Bring blankets and lawn chairs. Located at Pembroke Pines Recreation Center, 7400 Pines Boulevard

Town of Davie  29th Annual Fireworks Show 6-10pm Family activities including bounce house, climbing wall and arts and crafts. Food available for sale, free birthday cake. Located at Pine Island Park Community Center, 3801 S. Pine Island Road, Davie.

Gulfstream Park Events start at 4pm, concert at 8pm, fireworks at 9pm. 901 S. Federal Highway Hallandale Beach

City of Hollywood annual 4th of July celebration,  1 p.m. to 5 p.m., children’s fun and games at the oceanfront Charnow Park, located at Garfield Street and the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk in the Broadwalk Fun Zone. From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., there will be arts and crafts off Buchanan and New York streets. From 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., the Hollywood Beach Theatre at Johnson Street will feature a live music performance by Pocket Change, followed by the offshore fireworks display beginning at 9pm The Hollywood Trolley will run extended hours until 11:30pm. Where to watch 4th of July fireworks in Palm Beach, Delray Beach and Boca Raton

Village of Royal Palm Beach Celebrates the 4th of July at Lakeside Challenger Park, fireworks begin at 9pm.

July 4th at Jupiter’s Abacoa Amphitheater, celebration begins at 4 until 10pm

Fourth on Flagler starts the annual 4th of July celebration begins at 10:00am Downtown West Palm Beach featuring entertainment, a kids area, activities; At 5pm the waterfront commons location with live music, food and fireworks

Village Park in Wellington celebrates the 4th of July with games, bounce houses, games, live music and fireworks at 9:15 pm

Boynton Beach Intracoastal Park from 6:30 – 9 p.m. Live Music by Monique McCall Band 7:30 p.m. Patriotic Salute Firework salute at 9 p.m.  Free Park & Ride from NE corner of Ocean Ave and Federal Hwy and Boynton Beach High School

Delray Beach’s 2-Day 4th of July Celebration with Music, Food, Drink, Art, Contests, Family Activities and Fireworks Show. Free and open to the public Fourth of July Celebration July 3rd 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm July 4th 8:00 am to 10:00 pm A1A & Atlantic Avenue

Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton 777 Glades Road. Fireworks will begin at 9 p.m. Bring blankets and chairs.
