What South Florida tweeters & eaters did this weekend

This past weekend was out of control with food and drink tweets in South Florida. Not that this is some new fad around these parts but something was definitely spinning on a higher level than usual, and if I had to take a guess, I believe it had something to do with those wild and crazy Cobaya Miami boys and their summer of Cobaya tour. Check out what’s hot and trending on the palates of South Florida food and drink enthusiasts.

ChatChowTV says “THE BEST” Scallop Tiradito with scotch bonnet glaze at The River Seafood & Oyster Bar Miami

Burger Beast was “Enjoying National French Fry Day at Elevation Burger” Miami

Sylvie Gervais was “Drinking Champagne Chartognee-Taillet”

Fatgirl Hedonist enjoyed “cold brew goodness” at Panther Coffee Miami

Mug of St. Arnold was “Enjoying a Stone Smoked Porter with vanilla……..”

The Chowfather says (among many, many other things) that “Liquid mango & uni. Explosive!!!!” at The Bazaar Miami by José Andrés

Flying Pig Foodie ”Loves  Treat, Cabernet Sauvignon 2007, Lush dark fruit, herbal with a dried fennel hint on the finish”

Gourmandj says “Great ceviche, tacos and burritos. Well done.” at My Ceviche Miami

South Florida Burger Overload tell us that “when there’s more pattie than bun it’s a good thing! ” about the 10oz Angus burger with massive strips of bacon, Swiss cheese, and chipotle sauce at Lulu in the Grove

ChristineG_Mia said “Yum!” to the return of Phuc Yea! popping-up in Wynwood at Art Walk

South Florida Beer Blog went to the “Best fishfry ever with BYOB” at Maria’s Smokehouse (Fort Myers Beach)

SteveBM, the king of Bourbon says that at The Bazaar Miami by José Andrés; “…..Hillary makes a perfect old fashioned at the bar outside”

Y’all Taste This ”Loved everything at The Federal Miami Sunday night BBQ: Shrimp, sausage, ribs, beans w/brisket! LEGITIMATE!”

Wok Star said “everything so far is delish” at Silver Palace

Frodnesor says his “Favorites at Juvia Miami, cold-smoked scallop nigiri and oysters chino”

PALO! “likes Latin American for Cuban Sandwiches” and apparently has a PhD in Cuban Sangwiches according to ViceQueenMaria. I smell a Cuban Sandwich crawl/tweet-up coming on…

and as for me, it was an inhale fest of Pork Tacos and Cosmos for Happy Hour at The Office Delray Beach (Jamie the Bartender ROCKS!); the Mussels at Park Tavern Delray Beach were off-the-hook-full-of-flavor, and my all time fav, Havarti grilled cheese with bacon on marbled rye at Ms. Cheezious food truck comforted and soothed what ailed me from the night before.
