Share our Strength; 2013 Miami Food Blogger Bake Sale for No Kid Hungry

Bake Sale for No Kid Hungry

Miami Food Blogger Bake Sale will take place on Saturday, May 4, 2013 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and is hosted by the Southwest Community Farmers’ Market, located at Tropical Park, 7900 SW 40th St (Bird Road).

By participating in Share Our Strength’s  Bake Sale for No Kid Hungry, we all are committed to raising awareness and funds to make sure no kid in America grows up hungry.  This year, nearly one in five kids in America will face hunger.  That’s more than 16 million.   But, there is hope.   Share our Strength is working to connect hungry kids with programs that can help them get the food they need to thrive.

Last year’s Miami sale raised $3,652 for Share Our Strength/No Kid Hungry, making Miami the  #3 Food Blogger Bake Sale in the country! As one of the top three teams in the country, the total was matched by Domino Sugar, making a grand total of $7,304 raised by YOU to help connect hungry children in Florida with the nutritious food they need to learn and grow.
