Pictorial: Christmas and New Years in Rhode Island

Christmas in Rhode Island

Christmas in Rhode Island

I visited my family in Rhode Island for the holidays. Two weeks of pure family & friends time. A very welcomed break and much needed time away. The cold weather and snowfall made it holiday picture perfect. Idyllic actually. While a novelty for me, and a beautiful one at that, the storm and frigid temperatures were rather cumbersome and stressful for those who live there. I could tell you stories about those 14 days but in actuality my pictures are much more interesting, and you know, a picture is worth a thousand words, so I wish a happy and healthy 2014 to each and every single one of my readers and followers especially to the ones who have been with me since that very first day back in August of 2009. And from wherever you are reading this post, enjoy the beauty of this winterscape because at just the right moment, it truly was beautiful.
