EDGE Steak & Bar located in the Four Seasons Miami, on Brickell is a modern steak concept, not to be confused with the term steakhouse. Edge Steak & Bar is casual, yet polished, bright, and sanguine, certainly not what you’d expect from a “steakhouse”. Edge is sophisticated and appealing without being intimidating. Located in the tony Four Seasons on posh Brickell Avenue, it’s completely plausible that Edge would be anything but approachable, and yet, that is what makes this restaurant the celebrated destination restaurant it is, the fact that it is appealing and approachable to everyone.
The Edge talent in the kitchen is the celebrated and affable, Aaron Brooks. The world-traveled Brooks, has culminated his many experiences into the Edge menu and Edge specials daily. A native Australian, you’ll find hints of his homeland as well as Latin inspiration from his now Miami home, case in point, with the rather irresistible tostones, with avocado, chimichurri, and queso fresco.
When given the choice, I always opt for sitting outside, and the terrace at Edge Steak & Bar is a pleasant refuge from the hustle and bustle of the “Manhattan of the South,” a.k.a. Brickell.
Not being your typical steakhouse, Edge, offers guests lighter menu options, such as the Yellowtail Tuna Crudo and Gazpacho, both ideal for that terrace rendezvous, especially at lunch.
However, if you’re looking for something with a bit more substance, there is the guest favorite Quinoa and Fire Roasted Corn Salad.
And no al fresco lunch would be complete without a Lobster Roll, even if you are a discerning New Englander in Miami.
