Just over the Grove Isle Bridge, sits the eponymous 20-acre Grove Isle Hotel & Spa. In a matter of minutes, this private island puts distance between the hustle & bustle of every day life and absolute tranquility. Grove Isle Hotel & Spa houses 50 guest rooms, tucked away nicely and neatly amongst lush tropical gardens and unobstructed views of Biscayne Bay.

The Spa at Grove Isle  is home to one of eight exclusive East Coast Watsu Pools, where a modality of gentle therapy is performed in warm water. Exotic Balinese spa treatments and Thai body rituals are custom-designed for guests as well as many classic spa services such as body treatments, facial care, spa rituals, massage therapies and various salon offerings.

The restaurant at Grove Isle has undergone many incarnations over the years, Gibraltar is now under the direction Chef Ted Mendez, who has revamped the menu to highlight the many colors, flavors and fresh products indigenous to South Florida, all served in a very classic South Florida dining style, al fresco and waterfront. Gibraltar’s drawing card has always been its location and view, and now Mendez is stacking the deck with his talent and culinary whimsy.
