Sustainable, Organic and Biodynamic Wines

The August issue of our digital magazine, South Florida Lifestyle Guide is about wellness, balance and peace; and following along with that theme we sat down with The Dutch Miami resident wine experts we spoke at length about sustainable, organic and biodynamic wines and the numerous choices offered on the The Dutch’s wine list; not because it’s trending or the cutting edge thing to do but because the wines are quality wines without compromise, appealing to consumers seeking wines in various styles and price ranges. Organic wine is made from grapes grown adhering to the principles of organic farming, which excludes the use of artificial chemical fertilizers. Sustainable wine refers to practices that are ecologically sound, economically viable and socially responsible. Biodynamic wine is similar to organic wine as it adheres to organic farming methods but understands the agricultural process to be a holistic experience with the use of an astrological sowing and planting calendar. Click here to read about sustainable, organic and biodynamic wines.
