The Lifestyle of Feng Shui by Sylvia Lu

In the August issue of South Florida Lifestyle Guide, Sylvia Lu a Feng Shui consultant, interior designer and owner of the Feng Shui Institute in Miami, wrote an article on Feng Shui, sharing its origins and philosophy. Feng Shui hails from China during the Han Dynasty. The Chinese have been practicing Feng Shui for thousands of years. Feng Shui is a Chinese philosophy about the relationship between humans and their environment. Feng Shui  is about how everything is connected and how it affects your well-being. Based on the laws of nature, Feng Shui offer us a way of understanding why certain things occur and how to create an environment which allows us to live harmoniously. Feng Shui is based on the Taoist philosophies of nature and they include the principles of Yin & Yang, the Five Elements, and the Trigrams based on I-Ching.
