Delray Beach Wine and Seafood Festival Pairings Seminar: Banfi Vintners and La Cigale

In its third year, The Delray Beach Wine and Seafood Festival in partnership with Republic National Distributing Company present a series of  vintner education and food and wine pairing symposiums. In ancient Greece, a symposium was defined as a drinking party. “The Greek symposium was a key Hellenic social institution. It was a forum for men of good family to debate, plot, boast, or simply to revel with others.” - Wikipedia. In modern times, symposium has a more refined connotation; a gathering of specialists and experts on a particular topic discussing and delivering information on the said topic. There are eight vintner symposiums, and one chefs panel discussion at this years festival. Renowned wines from around the world will be presented, discussed, tasted, and paired with food from equally celebrated local chefs and their restaurants.

The Wines presented will be from Plumpjack Winery/Cade, Banfi Vintners, Cakebread Cellars, Tattinger Champagne, Silver Oak Cellars/Twomey, Joseph Drouhin, ZD Wines, and Chalk Hill Estate Winery.

Banfi wines will be paired with a tasting menu from La Cigale, a taste of the Mediterranean. Think of the French Riviera, Morocco, Greece, Italy and the cuisines of each. Click here to purchase tickets for any of the seminars
