South Florida Lifestyle Guide Pairings Issue

What started out as the 2014 wine guide to the Delray Beach Wine and Seafood Festival, turned magazine, turned into its own entity, This happened not because it was planned, but out of need and the sheer volume of information. Professionally, I have embraced the digital world, my entire company is built on a digital platform, so I suppose it’s no surprise that the evolution of the festival guide has become a full blown digital magazine. Because of the time, and effort put forth into Pairings, I have decided to change things up a bit from our routine, and make Pairings, the adjunct October issue of South Florida Lifestyle Guide. While I am a believer of why do when you can overdo, I will say that attempting to publish two magazines in one month is sheer insanity, so to preserve what little bit of sanity I have left, I present Pairings. In August 2014 we quietly celebrated South Florida Food and Wine’s 5th Anniversary. We have evolved greatly since 2009 with many milestones professionally, and personally; in 2012 my first book was published, Food Lovers’ Guide to Miami & Fort Lauderdale, earlier in that same year received the non-solicited readers choice award for best food blog from the Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel,  and again in the momentous 2012, transitioned from a blog to a media website. Slow and steady wins the race, and here we are in 2014 having published the first issue of our digital magazine, South Florida Lifestyle Guide in June, and now a special wine edition publication four months later. We have a few more special publications lined up for the holidays, so I invite you to signup to receive our digital magazines via email if you’re not on the list, and if you are, bookmark the magazine so you don’t miss a thing.

As always, thank you for reading and being a part of the South Florida Food and Wine world! -Christine
