Taste History Culinary Tours

Taste History is a three-hour to four-hour food-centric narrated excursion of bus riding and four to six blocks of walking through historic districts for alternate visits to eateries, markets, and an urban farm for food history, food culture facts, food information and food tastings. At least three to four eateries are visited for tastings along with trips to historic buildings, cultural centers and art galleries. Tour guests meet the restaurant owners and chefs; and directors and artists of the cultural centers and art galleries visited on the tour.  Each tour is unique and never an exact duplication of previous tours hosted.

In October, the schedule of culinary tours will travel to Lake Worth and Lantana on October 11th; Delray Beach and Boynton Beach on Saturday, October 18th and Saturday, October 25th. Taste History is sponsored by Macy’s, the Patricia Ann Ravo Fund and Boris & Edith Rueger Fund.
The fee is $40 per person; and free for children under age 18 (children must be accompanied by a paid adult family member). Pre-payment is required. Special rates apply for private group tours. To purchase tickets, click here

The non-profit Taste History Culinary Tours of Historic Palm Beach County premiered in October 2011 as the first food tour of its kind in Palm Beach County, Florida. Since its inception, the tour program of historic Delray Beach and Boynton Beach continues to sell out it regularly, thus, this popular resident, and visitor tour experience continues to offer more dates in more towns as interest and demand grows.
