Nottage Hill History

Old Tom Nottage was the nephew of the founder, Thomas Hardy. He worked for his uncle for more than 66 years, through two generations of the Hardy family and on his retirement it seemed only fitting that his dedication be recognized. Therefore one of the prime vineyards was renamed Nottage Hill, in his honor. Since then Nottage Hill has grown in popularity and every bottle is a vibrant, full-bodied and rich expression of classic Australian grape varietals; delivering a rare concentration of fruit flavour together with a soft, smooth palate texture.

Nottage Hill Chardonnay possesses ripe stone fruit; white peach and nectarine with toasty oak for complexity. A well balanced wine with lively citrus characters and vanilla oak for complexity, providing a solid backbone depth and length. SRP $13

Nottage Hill Pinot Noir bouquet exudes red and dark cherries with subtle hints of black olive, oak, and bay leaf. The palate has a vibrant bright sweet fruits of cherry and raspberry upfront with unobtrusive smoky cigar box characteristics coming through. This Pinot Noir has a fine tannin structure with lingering fruit to the finish. SRP $13

William Hardy History

To celebrate and recognize the 40 years of dedicated service from 5th generation family member, William (Bill) Hardy, Hardy’s launches the William Hardy wines.

William Hardy Chardonnay has an intense aromatics of melon and white peach, combined with notes of spicy oak.  Possessing a fresh and lively palate, with rich flavours of peach, stone fruit and lemon zest. The palate is creamy and textured and has delicate sweetness from oak complexity and generous length. SRP $17
