Miami Beach Turns 100 with Centennial Celebrations for 100 hours Taking Place From March 22-27th

Gloria Estefan, Andrea Bocelli, Barry Gibb, Flo Rida, Wyclef Jean, Jon Secada and Diego Torres are just a few of the artists who will performing at Hard Rock Rising Miami Beach, an oceanfront music festival taking place on Thursday, March 26, 2015, and sponsored by Hard Rock International in partnership with South Florida’s ultimate entertainment destination Seminole Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood, Fla. Hard Rock Rising Miami Beach is the centerpiece of 100 hours of celebrations taking place from March 22-27th and include 100 couples getting married on the beach and 100 new citizens being naturalized.

“Miami Beach is like no other destination in the world and to celebrate its 100th birthday we are throwing a party for residents and visitors like nothing anyone has ever seen before,” says Miami Beach Mayor, Philip Levine. “Between Hard Rock Rising Miami Beach, the 100 weddings I’ll be officiating, the photo exhibit, the tennis tournament, the car show and so much more, everyone will find their own way to celebrate this historic occasion.”

With the official centennial theme, “This is How We Celebrate,” the city will commemorate this historic event with a spectacular 100-hour non-stop celebration that will culminate with Hard Rock Rising Miami Beach, a global music festival held directly on the beach with many well-known, world-class performing artists and talented musicians.
