From Tea to Table: The Art of Entertaining at the Gallery of Amazing Things Thursday September 24

In celebration of Royal Doulton’s 200th anniversary, the Gallery of Amazing Things Dania Beach will host a special event highlighting the history, evolution and cultural phenomenon of tea. Guests can enjoy tea tastings, free educational lectures, shopping at the gallery’s pop-up boutiques and a private tea party in a unique museum setting.

Michael Doulton, the sixth generation Royal Doulton Ambassador hailing from the founding family in England, will personally sign Royal Doulton purchases.

Louise is the Executive Director of the Weiner Museum of Decorative Arts (WMODA) located on the gallery’s 2nd floor and will share her insights on the history of tea and how the tradition has played a vital role in British art.

President of Tracy Stern Tea & Co., Celeste Miller will speak about the evolution of tea. She will share her insights on the variations and health benefits of tea as well as new trends and the unique direction that the tea industry is headed.

From the French silver flatware brand, Christofle, National Brand Ambassador Justin Trabert will enlighten us on proper tea etiquette, including tips on how to set your table for low tea, high tea and other occasions.

This event will take place on Thursday, September 24 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The Gallery of Amazing Things on 481 South Federal Highway, Dania Beach.                 The cost is $10 for General Admission which includes admittance to event, the lecture series and shopping. The $45 Royal Tea Pass: Includes admission to a private afternoon tea from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at  WMODA, Weiner Museum of Decorative Arts located on the gallery’s 2nd floor.
