Old Soul Wine – Oak Ridge Winery

Oak Ridge Winery is the oldest operating winery in Lodi, California, built in 1934. It is owned by the Maggio, Reynolds and Dondero families, and produces estate wines under several separate wine labels. The winery itself was once a winemaking cooperative, which the Maggio and Reynolds families purchased in 2002, it was at this time Oak Ridge Winery and began by modernizing the facilities, transforming it into a state-of-the-art winery. capable of meeting the quality, style, and volume demands of a growing and evolving global marketplace. Today the winery produces several brands in addition to Oak Ridge Winery, including Old Soul

The wines are made from 500 acres of estate vineyards throughout the Lodi American Viticultural Area (AVA). The winery and vineyards are situated between the Sierra Nevada foothills and the San Francisco Bay. The area’s uniquely Mediterranean climate, with warm days and coastal evening breezes, is ideal for the cultivation of wine grapes.

Old Soul wines are value wines with a SRP of $14.

2013 Old Soul Chardonnay is bursting with fruit showing flavors of pear, tropical fruit, and pineapple with hints of floral on the nose.

2013 Old Soul Pinot Noir is a blend with Zinfandel giving the wine a mix of floral and fruit tones, cherry, raspberry and hints of blackberry from the Zinfandel

2012 Old Soul Pure Red Blend is made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, and Petite Sirah. This Cabernet-based red wine is a blend of grapes that give off tastes and aromas of dark cherry, blackberry, licorice and a hint of spice

2012 Old Soul Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend with Zinfandel. A dark fruit wine with smoke and vanilla notes touched with the sweet fruit of blackberries and cherries.
