Turn the Table: Guest Chef Supper Series, August 4th with Charlie Grippo of Green Bar & Kitchen

South Florida Food and Wine has partnered with Farmer’s Table in Boca Raton for a “Turn the Table: Guest Chef Supper Series,” which is a unique dining experience that will take place on the first Tuesday of the month from July to November. The themed dinners will take place at Farmer’s Table and will feature four prominent South Florida chefs. “We are so excited to play host and participate in such a unique culinary concept,” said Joey Gianuzzi, co-owner of Farmer’s Table. Reservations are available by calling  Farmer’s Table (561) 417-5836; dinner is $100 a person (inclusive of tax and gratuity) and includes the five course dinner with wine pairing, and a cocktail reception.

The second dinner in the series will be presented by Green Bar & Kitchen and will take place on Tuesday, August 4. The theme for the dinner is “Vegan Street Food”. Executive Chef and Co-Owner, Charlie Grippo, will create a vegan street-food menu for a five course supper with vegan wine pairings from the Ste. Michelle Wine Estates portfolio. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit Farm Share. The reception cocktail will also be vegan, made with Bulleit Bourbon. The cocktail reception begins at 6:30pm and dinner at 7pm.

The series will conclude with a cocktail reception on Tuesday, November 3rd where the four chefs will each prepare two courses for a total of eight courses along with cocktail, beer and wine bars.

The exclusive brewery for the event is Saltwater Brewery.

The wines poured at the finale will be Sequoia Grove Cabernet Sauvignon and Sequoia Grove Chardonnay along with Taittinger Champagne.

Cocktails at the finale will be made with Ketel One VodkaBulleit BourbonRon Zacapa 23 Rum, Tequila Don Julio, Tap 357 Canadian Maple Rye WhiskeyVan Gogh Dutch Chocolate Vodka and Van Gogh Double Espresso Vodka.

Tickets for the series finale are $150 and a portion of the proceeds will be split between all four charities.
