Friday, August 28, 2015 Oakland Park Music & Food Trucks on Main Street. Live music performed by Mr. Nice Guy Band. A cash bar will be open. Lawn games to be played, cornhole and jenga. This community event is staged at Oakland Park City Hall 3650 NE 12th Avenue Oakland Park. Lawn chairs and blankets welcome. Free parking.

Friday, August 28, 2015 Whole Hog Dinner at Cafe Boulud Palm Beach. Executive Sous Chef James Strine is expert when it comes to preparing and smoking meats of all varieties. Join Strine for his four-course ”whole hog” dinner. Saturday, August 29, 2015 Digest Miami’s Beach Feast at the Surfcomber South Beach, The event is open to ages 21 and over with tickets available starting at $45 for General Admission and $100 for VIP. VIP ticket holders receive early entry, 7pm, unlimited bites and access to the private rooftop cabana deck presented by Afrohead Rum. Chef de Cuisine, Danielle Herring and owner Michael Saperstein present an all Florida Seafood supper. 5-courses paired with Michael David Winery wines, and the reception cocktail presented by Zacapa Rum. Thursday, September 17, 2015 Cafe Boulud Palm Beach’s Sommelier, Mariya Kovacheva will host a dinner featuring wines from South Africa’s Cape wineries.  Kovacheva said for 20 years, South Africa’s wine industry has been undergoing a major transformation and immense growth, and is finally realizing its potential. Sunday, October 18, 2015 Riverwalk’s 3rd Annual Smoke on the Water BBQ Feast 11am until 6pm. The community event is free and open to the public. Food and beer is available for purchase starting at $5. Live music, and activities will be hosted for the entire family.

Friday, November 6, 2015 from 7pm to 10pm Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale and Covenant House Florida will host Bacon Bash. An event where bacon inspired dishes, both sweet and savory, from several local restaurants and food trucks will be featured throughout Esplanade Park. Tickets will be available for purchase on Blacktie South Florida starting September 8, 2015. Tickets for General Admission will be available for a reduced prepaid price of $35 when purchased online (or $40 at the door), giving you access to unlimited food tastings. Tickets for the VIP Biergarten Experience will be $75 prepaid online or $80 at the door which includes general admission, unlimited tastings of craft beers and bourbon tastings.
