50 Ocean continues its Chef’s Tasting Series by bringing a taste of “My Old Kentucky Home” to Delray Beach on October 20th at 6:30pm. Chef Blake Malatesta will pair Jim Beam bourbons with five courses. Jim Beam will feature their legendary brands, Knob Creek, Booker’s, Baker’s, and Basil Hayden. The menu is as follows:
Bourbon Daddy “the oyster, pauper, and peatl” tasting of oysters, Laplace stuffing, lemon granita, grilled butter
Olde Fashioned “no such thing as a free lunch” glazed ham, peas, pretzels
Bakers Revolver “before the age of meatloaf” “cannelon” of minced meat, Aztec coffee reduction, mashed potatoes
Reflection of The Evening Knob Creek, Basil Hayden, Bakers, Bookers Triple cream, Caramel Brule, Butter cake, Apple Pie
The cost of the tasting menu is $69 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Complimentary valet parking and admission to Boston’s on the Beach’s “Blue Tuesdays,” featuring a live performance by renowned blues singer Brandon Santini on the Boston’s stage.
