New Belgium Brewing’s Clips Beer & Film Tour stops in Miami October 22, 2015

Clips is a national beer and film festival that invites guests to try New Belgium’s unique Lips of Faith series alongside popular classics, while catching short films by New Belgium friends and fans. Attendees get to enjoy a night under the stars with proceeds going to local nonprofits in each city. Since its inception in 2010, Clips has raised more than $620,000 for nonprofits nationwide. 2015 marks the sixth year for the beer- film show that travels coast-to-coast.

New Belgium Brewing’s Clips Beer & Film Tour stops in Miami on October 22. 100 percent of the proceeds from beer sales will benefit Miami’s Urban Oasis Project. Clips is all about providing a great evening for the local community to enjoy together, while also giving back to it. The event kicks off in Margaret Pace Park at 7:00 p.m. and the films start rolling at 8:30 p.m.

Clips offers a venue where guests can try New Belgium beer, while watching short films created by New Belgium fans. Many of New Belgium’s Lips of Faith beers can be hard to come by and Clips offers the best way to try them. Up to 17 varieties from Lips of Faith to brewery classics will be on tap. Ben & Jerry’s and New Belgium Brewing have partnered to help fight climate change. While pleasing both beer and ice cream lovers, each pint of Salted Caramel Brown-ie Ale ice cream, and bottle of Salted Caramel Brownie Ale beer will benefit Protect Our Winters (POW), a group that is engaging the snow sports community to fight climate change.

For a complete list of beers available at the Miami stop, click here. New Belgium beers will be available in 3-ounce pours for $1.50 or 12-ounce pours for $6.00. Food from local food trucks, Jefe’s Original and Ms. Cheezious will be available for purchase.

New Belgium selects approximately 20 short films for the tour each season. All selected filmmakers for the 2015 tour receive a trophy-worthy beer in a custom screen-printed bottle, made exclusively for the winning submissions. This year, chosen films include a panda with an attitude about craft beer, a mano-a-mano mountain bike brawl, a whimsical human-powered surf rig and much, much more! It’s a diverse and highly entertaining line-up with something for everyone.

Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged.
