Thanksgiving Dinner and Desserts To-Go in South Florida

Each year this list gets a bit longer and a bit more exciting. Whether or not you’re into preparing Thanksgiving Dinner this list is definitely worth a look-see. If you’re going to stand on tradition and cook your turkey, that’s great, I’m all for it, as I cook my turkey, but I recommend nixing making your own pies, and check out where you can trust the professionals to make that crust…..Happy Thanksgiving! Broward & Palm Beach Counties

Doris Italian Market & Bakery locations in Coral Springs, Sunrise, Boca Raton, Hollywood and Pembroke Pines are making Thanksgiving dinner easier with turkey dinner packages. For convenient pick up and last minute grocery needs, Doris Markets will be open on Thanksgiving Day from 8 a.m. – noon. Shooters Waterfront offers a gourmet Thanksgiving Feast To-Go featuring a 15-pound slow roasted herb-infused whole turkey, a generous selection of side dishes and desserts including cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potato casserole, green beans almandine, macaroni and cheese, corn succotash, cranberry sauce, assorted breads with honey butter, spiced pumpkin cheesecake and pecan pie. Whole Foods Market: America’s healthy grocery store is offering multiple Thanksgiving specials that customers can order online or in-store from November 1 – 22. Offerings include Appetizers & Platters, Fresh From Our Butcher cuts by the pound,  entire Thanksgiving Dinners with all the fixings, and ala carte offerings as well. Family-style options, which serve 4-8 include the Organic Turkey Dinner Package ($149.99) – Organic Whole Roasted Turkey served with Organic Turkey Pan Gravy, Organic Traditional Herb Stuffing & Organic Mashed Potatoes; the Roasted Turkey Breast Meal for Four ($69.99) – Roasted Boneless Turkey Breast served with Mashed Potatoes, Turkey Pan Gravy, Traditional Herb Stuffing & Cranberry Orange Relish; and the Deluxe Dinner Package ($229.99) – Spiral Ham with Harry’s Hellacious Ham Glaze, Whole Roasted Turkey, Turkey Pan Gravy, Traditional Herb Stuffing, Cranberry Orange Relish, Southern Green Bean Casserole, Creamy Homestyle Mashed Potatoes & Harvest Roasted Root Vegetables. Master Pastry Chef Patrick Lézé has created a special menu of seasonal desserts, specially prepared and embellished for the Thanksgiving holiday. All selections will be available at both his flagship patisserie, Patrick Lézé- Palm Beach and Panaterie, TITOU hospitality’s newest café and bakery in downtown West Palm Beach.  The menu of five rich and traditional tarts and pies are each available in three sizes: 8”, 10” and 12”, for 4 people, 6-8 people, and 8-10 people, respectively. Additionally, the bakeries’ regular selection of baked goods, chocolates, and delicacies will also be available for pre-order for special events throughout the holiday season. Both bakeries will be open for select hours on Thanksgiving, to accommodate day-of order pickups.
