Cakebread Cellars Wine Dinner at Boca Landing, at Waterstone Resort & Marina

Waterstone Resort & Marina, Boca Raton has paired with Cakebread Cellars for a special vintner’s dinner on Tuesday, January 19th where guests will enjoy five courses paired with some of Cakebread’s most coveted vintages available, including Cakebread’s finest vintage, the limited-release 2012 “Dancing Bear” Cabernet Sauvignon. The Cakebread Cellars dinner will take place at Boca Landing, the signature waterfront restaurant of Waterstone, starting with a patio reception at 6 p.m., followed by a seated dinner at 7 p.m. in the dining room. Price of the dinner is $195/person inclusive of tax and gratuity. The pairing menus is as follows:

1st course: Ducktrap Farms Smoked Salmon Tart with a hydroponic grown watercress salad tossed in a Meyer lemon and volcanic sea salt vinaigrette paired with Cakebread Sauvignon Blanc

2nd course: Pan Seared Scallops with porcini wild mushroom and Plugra reduction paired with Cakebread Chardonnay

3rd course: Crisp Maple Leaf Farms Duck Breast served over sage and golden sultans infused spaghetti squash with cranberry Pinot Noir reduction paired with Cakebread Pinot Noir

4th course: Braised short ribs with parma ham and boursin polenta topped with a gorgonzola fondue paired with Cakebread “Dancing Bear” Cabernet Sauvignon

5th course: Grand Finale Confectionary paired with Port

In addition, a special Have Your Cake and Eat it Too accommodations package is available for those overnighting from out of town and those locals who are not ready let the night end. This package is valid January. 18-20 and offers a 10 percent savings at Boca Landing Bar with resort fees waived.
