For 16 years, Taste of Tennis has kicked off the US Open Tennis Championships in New York and it is widely considered the World’s Premier Food & Tennis Experience. The event brings together professional athletes, top chefs and luxury brands for an unforgettable evening of gourmet food, interactive sponsor experiences, signature cocktails and appearances by the world’s best tennis players. Tennis personalities and local celebrities will be paired with some of Miami’s best chefs to serve a unique food tasting experience that embraces Miami Beach’s chic lifestyle synonymous with W South Beach. Taste of Tennis Miami will take place on Monday, March 21, 2016 from 7:00 – 10:00pm, at the W South Beach Hotel & Residences at pool area 2201 Collins Avenue Miami Beach.
Local Miami chefs include, Andrew Carmellini of The Dutch as Exclusive Chef of the VIP Lounge, Mike Pirolo of Bazi, Dustin Ward of BLT Prime, Diego Solano of Bulla Gastrobar, Stuart Cameron of Byblos, Paolo Dorigato of Dolce Italian, Lucas Marino of Driftwood Room, Gilberto Arriaza of Gilbert’s Bakery, Kerry Heffernan of Grand Banks, John Iatrellis of Lure Fishbar, Piyarat Potha Arreeratn, also known as Chef Bee (Naiyara), Patrick Reholz of Quality Meats, Timon Balloo of Sugarcane Rawbar & Grill, Giselle Pinto of Sugar Yummy Mama, and Loris Navone of Tamarina.
Tickets are $200 each for general admission and can be purchased online with an additional $11.99 processing fee. A portion of the proceeds raised at this year’s event will benefit The FIU College of Architecture + The Arts | Miami Beach Urban Studios
