3rd Annual Oakland Park Culinary Arts Showcase Returns for the 2017 Season

In partnership with the Oakland Park Community Redevelopment Agency, South Florida Food and Wine is bringing back the popular Oakland Park Culinary Arts Showcase for its third season launching on Thursday, January 5th at Jaco Pastorius Park. The Culinary Arts Showcase spotlights local restaurants in the Oakland Park area where visiting chefs will prepare, demonstrate and serve four courses along with this season’s cocktail sponsor  Ketel One vodka. The cocktail presentation will include a demonstration how to make the cocktail, and pair each food course with a different cocktail. The Oakland Park Culinary Arts Showcase is a free community event, open to the public. Seating and tastings are guaranteed for the first 100 people. The event is held from 6:00PM-7:30PM. Jaco Pastorius Park is located at 4000 North Dixie Highway, Oakland Park, FL 33334. Parking is free on NE 38th Street and on NE 12th Avenue. Entrance into Jaco Pastorius Park is through the Grand Plaza.

This season’s talent lineup is
January 5 Viva Tokyo and Ketel One Vodka.
March 9 La Empanada Loca non-alcoholic Puerto-Rican beverages.
April 6 The Garlic Knot, and Ketel One Vodka.
May 4 Cucina Caruso, and Ketel One Vodka.
