Del Frisco’s Grille Palm Beach Hosts Merryvale Vineyards Vintner Dinner

Del Frisco’s Grille Palm Beach will host the award-winning Napa Valley winery, Merryvale Vineyards, on Wednesday, October 1, 2014. The legendary vineyard, which was the first to be built in the Napa Valley after the repeal of Prohibition in 1933, will be served alongside a five-course customized menu by Del Frisco’s Grille’s executive chef, Michael McLaurin. Pairings were determined by Del Frisco’s Grille Palm Beach’s own sommelier Elissa Pablo. Reservations are required, as seating is limited. Interested parties should call the restaurant at (561) 557-2552 to secure a reservation.  $115 per person, plus tax and gratuity

First Course
Mini crab cakes with Cajun lobster Sauce

Second Course
Slow-roasted pork belly with a cherry glaze
2012, Merryvale, Carneros, Chardonnay

Third Course
Seared duck breast with a frisee salad
2011, Merryvale, Napa, Merlot

Fourth Course
Tournedos of beef with haricot vert and a bourbon peppercorn sauce

Fifth Course
Homemade key lime pie
Antigua- Fortified Muscat
