4th Annual ARC Broward Delish to be held on Friday April 17th

Friday, April 17, 2015  from 7-10pm the fourth annual ARC Broward Delish event presented by PNC Bank, will provide the first ever face-off  between Broward and Miami-Dade chefs with the assistance of ARC Broward Culinary Institute’s students and graduates. Several of South Florida’s top chefs will vie for the “Best County Dish” with the help of attendee’s votes. A local panel of food bloggers will also select their favorite dish, awarding a “Best Overall” and “Bloggers Choice”. The event will be held at Young At Art Museum 751 Southwest 121st Avenue Davie, FL 33325. Tickets are $150 for general admission and $200 for VIP admission. Click here to purchase tickets

ARC Broward’s mission is to transform the community by providing opportunities for people with disabilities and other life challenges to realize their full potential.  Since 1956, ARC Broward has worked hand-in-hand with the community to provide the encouragement and opportunities that create life-changing outcomes so that people with disabilities and other life challenges can live, learn, work and play in their communities. ARC Broward operates at 10 locations and provides 21 programs to more than 1,200 individuals throughout Broward County, Florida. These include ARC Broward’s “mission-based” enterprises that provide training and employment opportunities for individuals served while generating revenue to help fund services. These enterprises include the ARC Broward Culinary Institute, ARC Broward Electronics Recycling Services, and the ARC Broward Learning Institute.  The ARC Broward Culinary Institute offers a food service training certificate program and also provides competitively-priced catering services for a variety of occasions, including multi-course dinners, cocktail parties, business lunches and more. Revenues generated from catering services directly support job training, placement and student scholarships. ARC Broward Electronics Recycling Services keeps end-of-life computers, cell phones and other electronic materials from being dumped into landfills. It also provides job training and employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Revenue generated directly supports these services. The ARC Broward Learning Institute provides affordable training to the human services community and beyond. The Institute specializes in training courses, seminars and conferences for anyone involved in providing human services.
