Szczecina, the talented native Floridian who joined the resort in 2014, creates edible works of art for weddings and events, as well as signature desserts for the resort’s signature restaurant, 3800 Ocean. She is a graduate of The Art Institute in Charlotte where she was a member of its culinary competition team.

This month, Marriott Singer Island is also gearing up for the unveiling of Szczecina’s impressive holiday décor. Last year, guests gathered around a five-foot-tall edible gingerbread house that took more than 280 hours to complete. This year, Szczecina’s confections will transform the resort’s entire lobby into an edible winter wonderland.
